Introduced as part of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in 2010, AWVs are fully covered under Medicare Part B, focusing on long-term health management rather than immediate medical concerns. This report investigates the impact of AWV utilization on Medicare Fee-For-Service (FFS) enrollees’ cost of care.
